JUAN 'TRAVIS' VALENZUELA
 
Recently graduated from the University of Oregon Sport Product Management program with a marketing and graphic design background.
During my career in graphic design and marketing, I designed Brand Identities, Guidelines and social media content for brands over different industries such as, gastronomy, construction, self-care and fitness.
As I started my journey through my master program, I quickly turned my attention to footwear design and development which was my 18 month-long project: The BTP Ponderosa, where I took the role of lead designer for a mountain biking female centric shoe. From there, we started the development process, communicating with factories in order to turn the design into a reality. Meantime, during the program, at the SPM Innovation Lab, I had the opportunity of learning about fabrics, materials and pattern-making, where I made my own shoe and shirt from scratch.
On 2024 I joined the LA Galaxy brand team as a graphic designer, supporting on social media and print graphics, apparel and other interesting projects. I lead the redesign of their premium brand alongside the Brand Director as they introduce their new Premium service for the 2025 season. Furthermore, I worked with YinzCam, the app developing company to bring the team app to the next level.
